Race report by Gustav Cuschieri
The debut of the X1 in Malta driven by Karl Fenech and Gustav Cuschieri have surely over shadowed the competition with a dominant performance from both drivers in the latest two rounds of the Maltese F1 electric championship. Another driver opting for the X1 chassis in round 6 was also another young local talent Matthias Azzopardi who finished in a very respectable 4th position.

Both Karl and Gustav decided to stick to the setup used for the ETS round 4 in Mattsee but opting for the original X1 front wing since rules allow it. The battery position was also experimented with however the cross chassis setup seemed to give the most constant lap times. Karl opted for the LCG batteries however Gustav decided to stick to the traditional shorty packs which showed to give an edge in power at the end of the 8 minute run.
